Brad Hearsh

Brad Hearsh is a Senior Advisor in UBS Investment Bank’s Global Financial Institutions Group providing advice to asset management companies (including senior managements and their boards of directors), primarily in connection with mergers and acquisitions and private placements. 

Brad has been with UBS Investment Bank for the last 31 years having begun his investment banking career at PaineWebber Incorporated in 1985 and then joining UBS as part of the UBS/PaineWebber merger in 2000. From 1981 to 1985, Brad was a Corporate Associate in the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York City. 

Brad received a BA from Williams College, a MA from Lincoln College, Oxford University and a JD from the University of Virginia Law School.

Brett Gallagher, Partner, Director of Research and Acquisition for Niles Capital Group, is a 28‐year veteran of the asset management industry including stints as Deputy CIO at Artio Global Investors/Julius Baer Investment Management; Head of Investment Management for JP Morgan Singapore and Head of  Global Equity for Bankers Trust International Private Bank. 

During his tenure, assets under management at all these organizations expanded dramatically. Brett’s responsibilities included the development of asset management and research processes, global asset allocation strategies and economic analysis. Brett has always worked closely with the Relationship Management teams at these firms in order to maintain and expand client relationships. Earlier in his career, Brett was an analyst with Irwin Management Company where he was responsible for the selection and evaluation of external managers and for financial oversight of Venture Capital investments. He has appeared numerous times on CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business News as well as having been quoted in The Wall Street Journal. He was also a guest lecturer at Yale University. 

Brett received his BA in economics from the University of Virginia and MBA from The Darden Graduate School of Business.

Neil Hennessy, CEO, Hennessy Advisors, is a seasoned portfolio manager with more than three decades of financial industry experience. Neil began  his career as a financial advisor and in 1989 he opened his own broker/dealer firm. 

In 1996, Neil founded his own asset management firm and launched his first mutual fund. Neil has a successful history acquiring asset management companies and starting mutual funds, and today he oversees the entire family of Hennessy Funds. Neil is a recognized and respected asset manager, ranking among Barron's Top 100 Mutual Fund Managers for many years*, and he is a frequent guest/contributor in national financial media. Neil’s unique strength comes from employing a consistent and repeatable investment process, combining time-tested, stock selection strategies with a highly disciplined management style. Neil leads his investment team to manage portfolios for the sole benefit of their shareholders, never straying from this core value. 

Neil graduated from the University of San Diego and the Wharton School of Upper Management through the SIA.
